TAMARA IMAM
Associate
Tamara Imam represents employees and labor unions in
a variety of labor and employment law matters, including
violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act, unjust termination,
and retaliation.
Prior to joining Mooney Green, Ms. Imam served as a term law clerk
for the Honorable Leslie Hoffman Price in the Middle District of
Florida. Ms. Imam began her legal career as a John Lewis Fellow at
Legal Services Alabama, where she represented low-income clients
in a wide range of civil legal matters, with a focus on housing,
public benefits, and consumer protection.
Ms. Imam is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham,
summa cum laude, and the University of Alabama School of Law, cum
laude. While in law school, she served as an articles editor for
the Alabama Law Review and a certified legal intern in the
University of Alabama School of Law's Criminal Defense Clinic. Ms.
Imam also spent a semester as a full-time extern with the United
States Department of Labor, in the Civil Rights and
Labor-Management Division of the Office of the Solicitor.
