Suzanne Summerlin represents unions and employee benefit plans. Prior to joining Mooney Green, she practiced law in Florida at the union-side firm Egan, Lev & Siwica, PA where she exclusively represented unions and their members. Ms. Summerlin also worked at the American Federation of Government Employees as a law clerk, and served the Florida Democratic Party as Assistant Statewide Legal Counsel for Voter Protection.
Suzanne Summerlin earned her J.D. cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2013, where she was Managing Editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy. She was also selected as a 2012 Fellow by the Peggy Browning Fund.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Summerlin produced an independent documentary film called Coexist that examines the reconciliation process following the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. She also worked as a television news producer at several stations in Florida. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism, with a minor in History, from the University of Florida in 2003.
