LAUREN P. McDERMOTT
Lauren McDermott represents unions on a wide range of labor and employment issues, as well as representing employee benefit plans in various legal matters.
Ms. McDermott authored "Unprotected Profanity: The Erosion of an Employee's Right to Convey Grievances," published in the American University Labor & Employment Law Forum.
Ms. McDermott received her J.D. from The Catholic University of America's Columbus School of Law in 2011, where she was a Faculty Merit Scholar, member of The Catholic University Law Review, and the Plato Papps Labor Law Fellow in 2009. Ms. McDermott received her B.A., magna cum laude, from The University of Florida in 2008.
